The Clifton Park Republican Committee wants to congratulate Roy McDonald on his convincing Election Day victory to the State Senate.  At a victory party that night held in Clifton Park, McDonald thanked all of his many supporters, and pledged to continue his focus on economic development and low taxes, especially in these challenging times.
 
Committee Chairman Bob Wilcox also thanked the many CP GOP Committee members and supporters who were in attendance at the event for their hard work and commitment to all the Republican candidates on the ballot.  "All your efforts, including preparing mailers, making phone calls, putting out campaign signs, and going door to door, were terrific.  They are very much appreciated."
 
Despite the losses suffered by the GOP at the national and state levels, the party continues to remain strong in Saratoga County and Clifton Park, and the CP GOP looks forward to more successes next year during local election races.
