CLIFTON PARK ENDORSES JAMES WHALEN & ERIKA RIEBEL

James Whalen has been endorsed by the Clifton Park Republican Committee for the 109th Assembly District seat, and Erika Riebel has won the Committee's endorsement for Family Court Judge.  Here is the press release from Chairman Bob Wilcox:

On April 8, 2010 the Clifton Park Republican Committee unanimously endorsed James Whalen as a candidate for the New York State 109th Assembly District.  The District serves the communities of Clifton Park, Colonie, and Halfmoon.

James Whalen a resident of Rexford in the Town of Clifton Park is a compliance officer at Pioneer Bank and a member of the Town of Clifton Park Zoning Board of Appeals.  James has served his nation proudly as a Captain in the JAG Corps of the US Army Reserve.  A proud graduate of Albany Law School and the University at Albany, James also has served the people of New York in the Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform as well as the New York Department of State.

James’ platform of Job Growth through less government and lower taxes in addition to his resume serving the people of our Nation and State made him the clear choice for members of the Clifton Park Republican Committee.

The Committee also endorsed Erika Riebel for the position of Saratoga County Family Court  Judge.  Erika is a well-known and successful attorney with experience in the Family Court system.  We believe she will make a fine Family Court Judge, and also become the first woman Family Court Judge in our county.  We look forward to supporting her in November.
